BeaverFever BeaverFever:
I was busy working on a joke about Dairy and Mooo-slims, but it's not coming together.

Did not ignore it at all. Just tried to explain irony to you - obviously a wasted effort. Shriek away.

Don't you mean froth? After all, I am a member of the political right-wing and that seems to be your buzzword lately.

This Texan Dairy Queen owner has some crackpot racist theory about why his Religion is better than everyone elses and how the US is better than Britain.

How did you every find someone like that in texas?

Oh, ok for the record the Moo-slim should not have put up the sign at the Dairy Queen. That's a Hin-don't.

But I do want to know what kind of sign he'll put up with he finds out that a "Dairy Queen" is actually just the name for a transvestite from Wisconsin

Sufficient outrage?

Thank fuck this whole incident is a one off by a slightly angry demented 65 year old man immigrant and doesn't truly reflect the feelings of his peaceful religious brethren.

Public_Domain Public_Domain:
Well, I think even you guys could agree that this isn't one of the Muslims you have an issue with.

He supports the Constitution, and is a nationalist business owner of a decadent Western ice cream shop in Texas.

He's more American than most Americans!

No, he's using our Constitution as a smokescreen for his hatred of pagans. If he hates the Hindus he probably has an equal fervor for hating native Americans (aka 'First Nations') who have similar polytheistic beliefs as do the Hindus.

The ultimate Texan!

Not sure they're similar at all, actually. I thought FN religions were more animist than polytheist.

I'm not as familiar with FN but with the US Natives they've got a panoply of gods similar to the Hindus. With some tribes the parallels are pretty amazing in their similarities to Asian and European pagans.

Last I checked the majority of Texans these days were not actually born in Texas but in California and the Northeast.

Demographically speaking Texas is one of the ten most diverse states in the USA these days.

Politically it runs pretty conservative.

Some in this thread likely support positions that would make a shop owner be completely within their Right to do just this very thing. So I'm rather confused how Liberals/Lefists are the ones being criticized here.
