So you can make a hybrid Colt 1911a that has nothing in it made by Colt. Which I think is why they haven't been doing so well.


True enough. Not a pistol guy but thinking of something like this.

A very nice hunting rifle! I was looking at a Remington 700, very similarly equipped. If the Colt is cheaper, it might be a great deal!

But I don't rifle hunt enough anymore to justify it to myself.

Nice. I agree it it might come down to price if everything else is equal. I'd like to get a little hands on time to get a "feel" for each of them before a decision.
