Hmmm....if this is now OK, I wouldn't mind trying the chocolate squares. I want something that can mitigate the neuropathic pain but isn't addictive, doesn't make me feel gooned out and doesn't make you constipated. The idea of smoking is repugnant to me.

vaping doesn't sound so bad. A doctor was saying the method of ingestion depends on what you are trying to acheive. If it's relieve of sudden onset pain or nausea, you'd want to be smoking, ie vaping it, eating works better for long duration conditions.

If you're concerned about being 100% legal, there are only a few suppliers, who have to send you the stuff by mail. They're not set up for anything but mailing you dried product. Might take a while before they start producing oil. Most of the dispensaries are still illegal, this ruling doesn't affect them afaik.

Vaping is the key, for me. I'd been a recreational pot smoker for about 15 years or so. But about 4 years ago, I was starting to think I'd have to give up the guitar due to arthritis (goddamn auto-immune side effects). Smoking pot never did a damn thing, medicinally, for my arthritis. But once I started vaporizing, KABOOM! Arthritis pain gone. Plus my workshop/studio doesn't smell like a Deep Purple concert anymore. Win-win.

The general principle is much like distillation. THC vaporizes at about 160C, which is well below the burning point of the marijuana. So vaporizing is basically boiling the THC off the weed without setting it on fire. That way you're just inhaling water vapor and THC without the smoke that you'd be consuming from the burning weed and rolling paper if you smoked it.

Essentially, you have a device that heats up. You put the weed into a chamber and you suck on it. You draw heated air over the pot and the hot air vaporizes the THC. You inhale the air, THC and water vapor. No smoke, since the weed isn't burning. The THC is just being "distilled" off the ground weed.

Where does the water vapor come in - like a hookah?

From the air. This is the device I'm using now:

If it leaves you wanting to sit and stare at cartoon network while scarfing down munchies, no thanks. I'm looking for something that dulls the pain without dulling the mind.

Well, that depends on how much you vape and what type of weed you're starting with. But I do like to keep a bag of M & Ms handy. :D

$1:
Tetrahydroconnabinol (THC) is beneficial as a pain reliever. Cannabichromene (CBC) and cannabidiol (CBD) have been shown in clinical studies to have valuable anti-inflammatory properties.[5]

You'd want pot high in the latter two, low in THC. Some people are producing that. Also, what i've heard is many medical users use low doses thruout the day, so they never get really high.
