So what? It's in his purview to dismiss his appointees as he sees fit. If I were governor and one of my ungrateful cronies dared to oppose me I'd fire him/her as well.

You have to question what kind of staff you'd end up with if you fire anyone who ever disagrees with you.

Won't be long before installing these will be cheaper than buying electrickery in Ontario.

Where will the electricity come from to charge the battery?

I'm no expert, but it sounds like you'll still need to buy power from the utilities to actually store in the batteries.

It might reduce the amount of energy you buy from Ontario Hydro, but in the end you'll probably still need to pony up.

Solar panels.

There's also losses from the inverter (converts DC to AC).

...And this is what comes of not actually doing my homework and reading the article thoroughly.

That's today's lesson, kids-make sure you're not asking a question whose answer is already right there in the damn text.

Already answered in 2002 when Eric Shinseki got fired for telling the Bush Admin that they didn't know what the fuck they were talking about when it came to the cakewalk they were expecting in Iraq. None of it is about policy at all anymore, it's merely about ideological loyalty now and damn all the consequences that result.

It's also been answered by Obama who has purged the military of anyone opposed to his gay agenda. That's as many as 800 ranking officers and an estimated 20,000 NCO's.

It's also of note that Harry Truman fired Douglas MacArthur for insubordination back sixty years ago so it's nothing new.

Exactly. Surrounding yourself with people who only tell you what you want to hear leads to...

The role of a subordinate is sometimes to disagree and support after voicing their concerns.

Anyone caring to oppose should expect to be fired.
