Jabberwalker Jabberwalker: I drive way over to the very left edge of the tarmac on blind curves, etc. on country roads. It drives my wife nuts, she complains every time but I try to open up a third lane in the middle, if possible.
I've lived in the country and my spouse never has. left edge of the tarmac - so you're in the oncoming lane in blind curves? Jeez, I gave that up in my early twenties.

It's been about a decade and a half. Even 15 yrs back, (I owned the Shell station on the hwy in Whse) That traffic, to and from south of town was horrendous. specially `to and from` during work hours. City planners also made it worse, they put in more subdivisions. Of course they had to put access to those subdivisions right where the best passing lanes were!!! NOW they`re talking bout twinning the hwy for 15 miles or so. And back on topic,, cops up here are the worst offenders for driving with their cell phone to their ear. Seen that way too many times.

Not offenders, they are allowed. They also use their 'puters while driving. But then they've been spatially trained. Just hope one doesn't head on you, because they'll do everything they can to make it your fault. Had a friend who was rear ended by a cop. Usually that's a slam dunk, rear driver is at fault. But the cop tried to cite him for stopping to suddenly without reason, as if my friend should have taken out the pedestrian instead. He really had to fight to get that reversed.

I drive on PACKED 16+ lane highways that crawl along for 12 straight hours every day. They are the busiest highways in North America, now. There are about as many cars in the Yukon as are packed between neighboring exits on one highway, most days, around these parts. Unless you've experienced it, you have no idea. I was driving an aunt and cousin, who had driven all of their lives in Saskatchewan, from Pearson airport and one of the first things that I had to do after entering the highway was make five consecutive lane changes in busy traffic (spanning may, be ninety seconds total) to get pointed down the right highway. My cousin made a slow whistle: "Never had to do that, before" he said.

I was flabbergasted as I hadnt been there since 85, no fricken way would I have attempted to drive there after being gone for 25 yrs. HELL, Even goin fishin up above north bay traffic was nuts AND we were travelling middle of the week Not weekend. AND,,, I used to drive stock car at Flamboro!!

Same with their pistols.. Met a cop in bc cancer agency while doing treatments. those sidearms are illegal to all but cops in canada.

bullshit....plenty of Canadians are licensed to own handguns. Restricted weapon permits aren't that hard to obtain.

Isn't barrel length under six inches the main criteria for a handgun to be disallowed? With a RPAL you can still buy anything from a classic .45 calibre to a Desert Eagle to a Taurus Judge to a multitude of AR15/AK47 clones.
