Zipperfish Zipperfish: Yeah they are still out there today. In for the long haul, i guess. I just never believed in furthering any causes I support by treating peoople who have nothing to do with it like shit. Makes you wish you had a Stand Your Ground law, doesn't it?

I am grateful that I have seen a lot of what I have seen. Seeing that cop being abused and treated like garbage. And after I got smacked in the head, one of the guys yelled at me, while another lady held a camera right up to my face. Very disorienting and intrusive. You can see how it is designed to induce a violent response. I have an understanding now--and a little more sympathy for--the position of cops policing these kinds of protests.

It's things like these shitheads, family crime and sex crimes why I could never be a police officer.

Thanos Thanos: Which groups of dipshits is causing all the ruckus? Probably members of the perpetually annoyed club. You know, the ones who have no idea why their protesting other than they get to cry about nazi police or evil capitalists.

It is of no small consequence to note that some of our people here on CKA support such protesters.

I always figured the cops deserved a bit of leeway for things like having to pick body parts up from the carnage drunk drivers cause or for being the first ones on the scene to find things like some meth-mom using the microwave oven to dry off her baby. No wonder most of them are in a bad mood most of the time.

Just in case anyone wasn't sure this is the sort of thing I'm talking about that making the rights of shitheads equivalent as the rights of normal people. I'm pretty sure I'm not a fascist but at the same time I really have zero problem when the cops show up in armour and go into the crowd swinging the batons at worthless nutsacks like the ones outside Zippy's office. I genuinely fucking hate them.

I seen nasty carnage on several overseas tours and I'll never forget the sights, sounds and the SMELLS if I live to be 150 years old. I'm amazed that more soldiers and cops aren't suffering from some form or another of PTSD.

Thanos Thanos: Which groups of dipshits is causing all the ruckus? Heiltsuk Nation. DFO has opened up a limited commercial herring fishery in their tradiational territory, which they don't agree with.

They never get to see an armistice or cease-fire ever occur because the scumbags they deal with every day simply never stop what they do to make the world that much more of a miserable place. It's not just the lifestyle, stupidity, or greed that propels the losers into being losers. They appear to actively enjoy making things that much worse by any way they can.

As a friend of mine once told me, when dealing with angry Natives have some fun with them and rile them up even more by telling them in the most sneering and sarcastic manner possible to go cash in their empties so they can go buy a case of beer. Either that or tell them that getting out of bed before noon really won't hurt them at all.

Besides, I need to get home so I can cash in my empties and go buy a case of beer.
