sandorski sandorski: Hopefully everyone calms the fuck down. However, it sounds like a whole cleaning of the Police, Courts, and even Local Government is needed to fix that mess. I'd clean out the neighbourhood... but maybe that's just me.

I think it sucks that this situation has been allowed to get to this point in Ferguson. I am not trying to justify the shooting of these two police officers, far from it. The fact of the matter is almost none of us have any idea what life is like in these black neighborhoods. Constant unrelenting harassment from the police. They cannot leave their home without a cop hassling them. http://photographyisnotacrime.com/blog/ ... in-public/Check out this footage from today. All these guys were doing was shooting a rap video. The police swarmed on them like an occupying army, ordering everyone on the ground, handcuffing everyone. And for what? Being black in public? This is left wing San Francisco. They are supposed to be all about inclusion there. The black guys seemed to know the drill. Not one of them stood up for their rights. They know if they did they would get a beat down and some felony charges for resisting arrest, obstruction of justice, assaulting a police officer, etc. ect. Rapping in public gets them some silver bracelets, and their rights totally violated. This type of shit goes on thousands of times a day, every day in the U.S. How many of us would like to take a walk in their shoes? How many of us would like to be pulled over every time we drive? How many of us would like to be ordered to grab some wall while our rights are violated for simply having the audacity to walk while black?

Here's an interesting read... $1: Fox pundit Juan Williams recently expounded upon a column he wrote for the Wall Street Journal in which he described "thuggish behavior" as creating a culture of violence in African-American communities.
"The violent behavior of young black men and the police response have become a window on racial fears," Williams wrote. On Fox News Sunday Williams said, "On the black side of this equation, I think there’s fear of intimidation, harassment being legitimized by the fact that there is a high rate of crime, especially among young black men.
"No. 1 cause of death, young black men 15 to 34 — murder," Williams said. "Who’s committing the murder? Not police. Other black men." http://www.poynter.org/news/mediawire/2 ... -shooting/

Public_Domain Public_Domain: Yeah, that's purposeful and why it's at the end. It's deliberately uncomfortable sarcasm, except not really sarcasm I guess, since it's probably accurate. So maybe it's satire. Either way, it makes people squirm. Maybe you. I think many roll their eyes or maybe fart. It's a slacktivist buzzword...one of many that find their 15 minutes of coffee shop fame.

Public_Domain Public_Domain: 2Cdo 2Cdo: That, or it's complete fabricated bullshit. That's fine but I'll humour you with more needless disclosure. It was on the 24th of February. This is my original annoying post I made to Facebook: $1: Was just followed by the police while walking to Subway. Like stopped in front of me, no one else around, stared at me till I walked past, then drove away. Twice. Left me alone though, #whiteprivilege Don't feel like I conveyed it as smoothly this time though. It still sounds like bullshit, no matter how often you post it.
