Regina Regina:
ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog:
It clearly states in the story:

$1:
Ford, a veteran pilot, was the only occupant of the plane, a Ryan PT-22 Recruit, which was used for training during the second world war.

Not to mention the links and discussion there was about it.

Depending on where and when I read these threads, I can't necessarily read the accompanying story. Your links are all blocked by security software, if I happened to be reading it at my workplace (lunchtime only, of course)... on any device, BTW. Our three WiFis are all filtered. It's not about serveillence on us. It is because destructive viruses have wrecked havoc, periodically and traffic with the outside is heavily filtered. I believe that I've been jumped on before because I've reacted to a comment and not the story that I couldn't read in the first place.

It's not as if I was making a comment, even. I asked what kind of an aircraft it was because I didn't know.

SHEESH! I won't bother asking the "experts" for information, again.

It's a good thing that none if you are school teachers!

Let's see who the true pilots are.

What do you call that spinning thing on the nose of an airplane?

Would it be the propeller? :D

Nope. No real pilots here. It's called a "fan", because once it's stops spinning you start sweating profusely.
