Buy the cartridges that you fill with your own coffee, as that ends up costing you mere pennies a cup , but you still have the convenience of single serve.....Personally I have a regular coffee at home and at the office maker I bought bunch of da Vinci(mostly) sugar free syrups. English Toffee, German Chocolate, Peppermint, Irish Cream, Gingerbread, Tiramisu, Vanilla hazelnut and Salted caramel
That only works for the older versions. The newer K-Cup 2.0 version can only use it's own cups. They are coded so that no other brand will work and the machine will not blend it.
Not necessarily. You can still buy the Keurig Elite which is the old style system and allows you to use the cartridges. I bought one at Christmas for exactly that reason since my Bosch didn't have that feature because of their freakin "bar code".
The Elite Model was sold out pretty much everywhere right after Keurig brought out their new systems which indicates alot of people are using the self fill cartridges and shows that when it comes to the environment and profit corporations will go with profit everytime despite their claims to the contrary.
But fear not they've been working on a way to reduce waste.

So, I guess these fucking rocket scientists are gonna reinvent the wheel so it'll take them some time especially considering there are other companies that already had much greener technology than even recyclable till they changed their machines so nobody couldn't use it.
