Our son got locked out of his computer about a year ago. There was a fullscreen thingy from the "RCMP" stating that he had illegal images on his computer but for $100 they'd unlock it for him. Being mildly autistic he was freaked right out about it. Fortunately he knows that no matter what, no matter how embarrassing, he can always talk to me or his mom.
I explained to him that he didn't do anything wrong, that it was a scam, and that the RCMP would be doing a LOT more than merely demanding $100 if he did have illegal images on his computer.
