Unsound Unsound: PublicAnimalNo9 PublicAnimalNo9: andyt andyt: Continued Israeli expansion is certainly a large problem for Palestinians. Israel is like the bully who takes a victims fist and hits him in the face with it, while taunting him why he doesn't stop hitting himself. Do yourself a favour. Quit taking history lessons from the CBC and leftist revisionists before you make another utterly idiotic statement like that again. So, you're saying Israel isn't expanding their settlements into Palestinian land? I would answer, yes. The can't expand into "Palestinian" land until you can explain why Israelis would not be Palestinians. They could expand into Muslim claimed lands which would include Gaza, the West Bank and they're already in Israel. At present though that video is pretty much dead on. No wait...let's negotiate. The Muslims are willing to be reasonable, right?

Maybe they'd have better luck negotiating with Hamas. They're most likely going to form the next governing body of Islamic Controlled Palestine anyway.

Unsound Unsound: Quit with the settlements, move back to something resembling the '67 borders(with allowances for strategic defense necessities), end the blockade and tell the Pallys "you're on your own, make it work. First rocket over the border will be draw ten in response. 2nd rocket gets 100 back. And so on."
Agreed. I've never had a problem with Israel responding militarily to attacks. That would include occupying Palestine with troops when necessary. Troops say we'll leave when you behave yourself. Settlers say fuck you, we're staying. We can't understand why you're being so mean to us. Why aren't you happy with your Bantustans? Settlements are just as much an act of military aggression as rockets.

Which settlers? The Mohammedans? The Christians? The Jews? I hear they share DNA?
So which ones are you talking about?

we all share DNA. should we allow people to come to Canada uninvited because we do? Let's let Chinese buy up Canada without having to be vetted for immigration. Then let's let China build special roads for them that only they can use. Let's bring in Chinese troops to keep us Gweilo in line.
Or better yet, allow "Mohammedans" to settle in Israel. I mean that would be fair. Go ahead, make it all greater Israel, give equal rights to everybody, and stand back. Yeehaw. OR you know, make it an Aryan Jewish state mit der zpecial prifileges vor der zpecial Folk. Yeehaw.

NO shit. Wonder what it's like for them living in a Jewish state? Anyway, no problem right? FD says anybody can settle in Palestine, so let's just call the whole thing Israel and have a lot more Mohammedans living in Israel. I mean if the Palestinians aren't supposed to object to Israelis moving into their turf, let's open it up in both directions. We can't distinguish them genetically anyway. No problems at all.

andyt andyt: we all share DNA. should we allow people to come to Canada uninvited because we do? See now that's interesting, because the last time this subject came up, and it was noticed that the Muslims were actually invaders of historically Jewish land it was proclaimed that no, they were all the same. They all shared DNA. Very well. We're back at the beginning then. Jews had a historic claim. The Arabs invaded. Who are the settlers then? Who is more Palestinian a Jew or a Muslim? There are still a half million Jews in the West bank, even after thousands of years. Good for them.

Jabberwalker Jabberwalker: There a a great many "Mohammedans" in Israel who are also Israeli citizens. This is true. They vote. They can run for office, and join the military. Good for them. If the PLO and others hadn't been intent on Jihad they could all be so lucky. And yes Andy I'm in favor of a one state solution, but first we have to do something about the Jihadis.

$1: I hear they share DNA?
Twenty five percent or so of the West Bank 'Palestinians' share more in common genetically with the Israelis, than they do with the surrounding Arabs. They're the descendants of the Jews that converted to Christianity(most Christians have been driven out by the Moslems ver the past 4 decades) and later Islam. This is where the right of return creates problems. If Israel can bring in Russian 'Jews' that haven't been Jewish for generations, those Palestinians that can prove their genetic background should be allowed to return to Israel and be granted citizenship......just keep in mind that Judaism is determined by matrilineal lines not paternal ones. My own kids are eligible for citizenship based on this despite the fact that there are no Jews on my side of the family, through blood, and my wife's maternal grandmother converted to Christianity. They've got Jewish, Catholic and Protestant kin in that family. $1: They can run for office, and join the military. They've been ministers in the Israeli government, speakers in the Knesset and have even been acting presidents of Israel. Arab members of the IDF are all volunteers and are responsible for most of the policing that goes on in Arab towns and villages, including IDF police operations in the West bank and settlements......So many of the stories you hear about the brutal IDF soldiers beating on poor Arabs are, Israeli Arabs. Bedouins and Druze(they are viewed differently than Arab Israelis) like most Israelis have compulsory service in the IDF.

If the PLO had not started out as two bit, murdering terrorists, Palestine would have become a full country back in say, the 1980s. They came to our attention by butchering some young Israeli athletes in Munich who's only crime was being Jewish and born in Israel. I know, I know. It was a traditional greeting for Jews in Munich. I'm sure that the irony was not lost on Arafat.

ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog: If Israel can bring in Russian 'Jews' that haven't been Jewish for generations, those Palestinians that can prove their genetic background should be allowed to return to Israel and be granted citizenship... Good idea, but first we have to convince the antifada crew to stop blowing things up and killing people. $1: The Second Intifada, also known as the Al-Aqsa Intifada (Arabic: انتفاضة الأقصى Intifāḍat al-ʾAqṣā; Hebrew: אינתיפאדת אל-אקצה Intifādat El-Aqtzah), was the second Palestinian uprising against Israel – a period of intensified Israeli-Palestinian violence. It started in September 2000, when Ariel Sharon made a visit to the Temple Mount http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_IntifadaSharon visited the Temple Mount. Somebody didn't like it. Tell me that isn't religious.

Gee...imagine that, Jews wanting to visit the most sacred site in their faith. The Temple Mount should be treated the same as the Cave of the Patriarchs. Jews and Muslims should share it, not just allow the Jews the Western Wall of Herod's Temple, where the apes can throw rocks and Molotov cocktails at worshippers below.
