But good for him. I have no problem people protecting their property with legal weapons in situations like this. Have to admit that in Canada this guy would probably be charged if he shot anybody, or just stood outside his store with a gun.

Gotta say tho, he'd look a lot more threatening if he was holding just one rifle. I certainly wouldn't shop at that store with that guy in front, liable to kill me. Only Arnie can pull that one off.

Not every business owner had the luxury of being able to defend their lively hood. When these businesses don't rebuild everyone of those fucking savages have no one to blame but themselves, Ferguson is the next Detroit.

In a very surprising yet (I think) smart move, the prosecutors that sought an indictment have released the evidence seen by the grand jury and the transcript of the grand jury hearings. This is usually not released when the grand jury doesn't indict, but it is an option.

There are far too many documents and transcripts, to have a full analysis yet, but The New York Times and NPR have the documents and are continually updating with their analysis.

I doubt the rioters are reading the Times or listening to NPR. For everybody else tho, I think it's clear the cop was in the right. I lost any sympathy for Brown when I saw his behavior in the Kwik-E-Mart.

Prosecutors did not seem to shy from pointing out discrepancies between multiple interviews of a single witness, or even at some points exploring the past criminal history of some witnesses, including Mr. Johnson, Mr. Brown’s friend.

This is where the black community has a case. If this was about a black man killing a white cop, or killing anybody, really, the prosecutor would try to put the witness statements in the most positive light, not try to dissect them.

Since the Supreme Court incorporated the Second Amendment every business owner in America does have the right to protect their business.

Also, I forget the legal principle that came up after the Rodney King riots but the courts ruled that in the absence of the police then people have not just a right, but a civic duty to maintain order and when they act in the absence of the police then they also enjoy qualified immunity from prosecution for acting as police.
