Neither side wants to fix immigration. They love their cheap labor too much. Neither side seems willing to go after the employers of illegals. Without that they can stand on their heads and it won't stop illegal inflow. Neither side seems to want to reform immigration, where if they really do need to import people, do it legally. If they need temp workers for their agriculture, import them on visas like we do. Although since they seem to grow stuff there year round, maybe it's just time to buck up and pay a decent wage so that citizens will want those jobs.
