I said they don't teach ten commandments?

As I showed, they do teach Christianity further in the course. So the Christians will get their religion mentioned just as Islam is. And Hinduism is etc. What the Christian ravers are on about is posting the 10 Commandments in school, courthouse, etc. They want Christianity promulgated outside of a course that deals with religion.

Is this sinking in or are you just going to keep raving?

You're talking about Taboola Fifey. It's a marketing agency. It's not just the Daily Mail that uses it. Its clients include BBC, USA Today, Huffington Post, and the Boston Globe.

Yes. You said "nobody was doing what [Unsound] suggested in his first paragraph.

Here's what he said in his first paragraph.

I have to wonder though, is it true that they aren't allowed to discuss the 10 commandments? That sounds a little far fetched, but if it is the case I can see a Christian getting upset about their kids being taught about one faith and made to completely ignore their own.

Actually your full sentence was..

$1:
Nobody is doing what you suggest in your first paragraph - that's just FD type histrionics. If people don't want Islam promulgated by officialdom, they're going to have to accept that their pet religion, Christianity is also out.

So yes you did say they don't teach the ten commandments.

You fucked up, Bud. Just admit it and move on.

AS for the first story. That letter is ridiculous. Being labelled "racist" on their permanent record? Just a little heavy handed imo, but seems to be par for the course in britain these days.

Would you really take time to read the damn stories..........................

I DID read the story. It WAS in the UK. So there! I expect to see a blushing smilie from you forthwith.

People love their crap and hate it at the same time. That's why The Daily Mail pretty much tops every "worst newspaper" list out there.

Plus it offers stories the more partisan sites like BBC, Huffington Post and the Guardian won't, so yeah those guys in particular would hate that. Especially with the Mail being the most popular News site on the internet.

It's like McDonalds... crap people love.

I have to admit that I read The Daily Mail once in a while when I'm looking for a chuckle. For the same reason I'll read The Onion, American Thinker and American Stinker.

Regarding the Mail article: How can it be racist if it's about Islam? Islam is a religion not a race so it should be bigotry. Why label the child as such when it would be the parents rightfully keeping the child at home. Why dos it have to be Islam that they study for a second religion in Britain. Should be Druidism or other form of Paganism. That is British history AND show where Christianity first got their writings. Win/win me thinks! This Headmistress should be thoroughly examined by OFSTED and should be considered for reprieve.

That's just so racist. Druids, Pagans, Christians.

Haram, haram, haram.

Islam is a founding religion of Britain, and soon it will be rewritten
as the first religion of Britain.

Only to sit and wait..

How do you know what the course teaches when it reaches the section on christianity? It will likely teach the foundations of Christianity the same way is was teaching the foundations of Islam, and taught the foundations of Hinduism and Buddhism.

They are treating all faiths equally. That's what has this raver dad in hissy, and you're trying to bullshit your way around it.

So what they are not doing, which is what I referred to, is teaching Islam but not the ten commandments. Well, except strictly speaking, at the time of this story they hadn't got the point where they teach about Christianity.

What Unsound was commenting on was the Dad's anger that the ten commandments aren't otherwise taught in school, outside of this class. That the ten commandments have been banned from courthouses and other govt buildings. Unsound, unfortunately took this to mean it's not taught in the course, and you're trying to run with it.
