In other news, Bart still stands by using the terms "negro", "savage", "chink", "wench", "retarded", "fag", and "jew" because they were at one point or another socially acceptable phrases.

Funny that. Apparently it's socially acceptable to be a bigot/racist, as long as you ain't White and/or straight. Need proof of that? How many "White" TV shows have you seen where they use the word "nigger"? I'll go out on a limb and say none. Yet the term "cracker", which is actually a far more offensive term, is perfectly acceptable when it comes to "Black" TV shows.
Same with the gay community. Some like to refer to heterosexuals as "breeders", which is a derogatory term in that context.

If we're going to insist on a politically correct society, then we have to make sure EVERYONE is following "the rules", not just Whitey and straight people.

I'll ignore your previous posts and go from here because this was my point.

This futile exercise of renaming things to try to evade a popular image is, well...futile.

For instance, no matter what these guys are called they can't escape the image they project:




And that's the thing with me because I believe what I see when I see it. Trying to convince me (or anyone else, really) that what they see isn't really there so long as we call it by some softer name is just a form of a lie. It's dishonest and it's a deliberate effort to warp a commonly held perception of reality.
