PublicAnimalNo9 PublicAnimalNo9:
Having some experience with various "substances", I can assure you it's highly unlikely someone on coke would bite a dog. Someone on weed would, but it would be a hotdog cuz they gots the munchies.
Based on the dude's behavior I'm guessing he was on meth, or bath salts. And I'm pretty sure no one is suggesting that meth be legalized.
It's just too bad the poor dog was bitten. But I do think the cruelty to animals charge is a bit much and an attempt at going for the emotional as opposed to the standard charge of assaulting a police "officer".
I don't know where this all went south but, I never said they wanted to legalize meth, all I said was that there were people out there who wanted Cocaine and hallucinogens decriminalized and since it was never specified "which" hallucinogens they wanted to be included in the decriminalization I sarcastically pointed out that the erratic behaviour displayed by this individual could well have been caused by an hallucinogen like Meth or PCP.
But since this has gone on way to long and turned into a debate about my intention with my original post please read the following post because it's the answer I should have used when andyt first posed the question.
