ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog: Actually Sheepfuckers had their coffee ranked better than.....Starfuck's.... OK OK that isn't saying much. Starbucks, home of over-roasted beans and overpriced coffee with a side order of pretentious servers.

PublicAnimalNo9 PublicAnimalNo9: NO surprise here. McDOnald's has consistently sucked for at least 30 years now. I have zero idea how Taco Hell managed to stay in business this long. Must get a LOT of drunk customers or something. And KFC has truly been shite for as long as I can remember. The should call themselves DSC; Dry and Stringy Chicken. KFC = Kids Fattening Centre

Kaohsiung Fried Cat is what we called it. I occasionally had the spicy chicken sandwiches, which are a bit spicier than what you get here. 2Cdo 2Cdo: ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog: Actually Sheepfuckers had their coffee ranked better than.....Starfuck's.... We had two within a 5 minute walk of our place in Kaohsiung. 7-11 and Family Mart made a latte, which is about the only thing I ordered, that was just as good at half the price. I'd hit Starbucks for a sugar free Green Tea frappe(with a shot of cream) during the summer months twice a week

Yep, people say it's the worst burger yet the line at the drive through says the sheeple will eat it anyway.

If we have to eat fast food, we usually go to Subway or Quiznos - at least that way you can get some veggies on your unhealthy food. All of the others are pretty gross and usually give me a case of Delhi Belly in a couple hours, except Taco Toilet (Bell) - that stuff cleans me out in 30 minutes! If you're going to buy a burger, I recommend 5 Guys Burgers and Fries or Rodeo Burgers (a local place here in Edmonton). Spend a couple bucks more and get a decent burger instead of some mass-produced crap. The best place in Edmonton for burgers used to be the Motoraunt, but some bureaucrat at City Hall tripled their rent and they closed their doors - and the lot has now been vacant for 3+ years! Brilliant job, ex-lax!

5 Guys would be better if they didn't use processed cheese.

2Cdo 2Cdo: The ONLY decent thing at McD's is the coffee. It certainly tastes better than the brown water Timmies serves. Was thinking recently that Tim's coffee is much weaker than it use to be. It really doesn't seem much more than brown water these days.

When I make my own burgers at home, I use Balderson Aged Smoked Cheddar and Applewood bacon. After all, if you're going to do something, you might as well do it right!

That's funny. I've read a few articles (as well as heard reports on the radio), that Wendy's was #1 for shitiest food of the major food chains. McDonald's was always listed second, so I'm sure it's within mere fractions of a percent as to which scores higher.
We don't eat any of that crap. It absolutely makes me sick. On the rare occasion we eat out, we usually don't do fast food. If we do, it's usually Fat Burger. Even then, I have a chicken burger. Tried Five Guys a couple times - meh... still compressed something-or-other patties. Fast food hamburgers have my guts churning for days. If I want a hamburger, I make it at home. Real meat. Real cheese. Fresh toppings.

The only hamburgers I eat come off a BBQ.
Wouldn't touch a BigMac with a ten foot pole.

MacDonalds only upside is convenience, and the kids will happily spend an hour in the play area so I can read a paper in, relative, peace.
Fatburger is good, but not as good as it should be for the price. My favorite place used to be Marco's Famous on Whyte, but I haven't been there in years so no idea if they're still good.
I'll often buy the Safeway brand frozen sirloin burgers. Not quite as good as scratch made, but for a quick weeknight meal they'll do.
As far as fast food, if I forget to bring lunch and have to buy something I'll grab a hot dog at 7-11 as often as not.

Unsound Unsound: As far as fast food, if I forget to bring lunch and have to buy something I'll grab a hot dog at 7-11 as often as not. The good part about working downtown is the availability of a Fast Franks cart on the next corner. Or some of these awesome food trucks we have around! The bad part about working 5 - 1 is that I take lunch around 9am, and the food trucks aren't set up yet.
