BRAH BRAH:
bootlegga bootlegga:
While the US may have funnelled arms and money through the Saudis to Bin Laden and others fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan, the fact is the money came from the US originally.

The US most certainly armed and trained the muhajadeen - they certainly didn't get Stingers and other heavy weaponry (and the training to use them) from the Saudi stockpiles.

Some of those same muhajadeen did go on to join Al-Qaeda down the road. Other muhajadeen formed the Taliban, but don't let facts get in the way of your anti-Obama rant.

Like your Anti-American rant? Hypocrite.

Actually, it's anti-incompetent, not anti-American...which is why I said EVERY administration since WW2.

But keep on posting your I hate Barry memes, they make you look like a genius! :P

FFS, the Current Administration just doesn't get it, does it? If they hadn't given arms and succour to the current crop of Islamist Crazies, Iraq likely wouldn't be the flavour of the month playground for radicalism and a march towards the middle ages. :x

Really? That's the problem as you see it? Some small arms to some rebel groups caused the Sunnis of Iraq to rise up against the govt and win against a 1,000,000 man army?

I don't know what you've been watching but it isn't the Sunni Peoples rising up against the Iraqi Gov't, it's a group of radicals so fucked up that even Al Qaeda doesn't want shit to do with them conquering large swaths of Syria, which btw isn't Shite and Iraq, while trying to return this great new Caliphate to the splendor and enlightenment of the middle ages with all the advancements of justice, women's and human rights that accompanied it.

So keep on spinning this into a war of righteousness being fought for the freedom of one sect of Islam over their oppressors if it makes you feel better about the fact that the actions of the American Gov't are and have supported Radical Islam in creating a sectarian war that could engulf the entire region because, history will be the judge of Obama's actions just like it was of Bush's and nothing we say or do can change that.

I get my news from newspapers, that thow out more than exciting headlines. The analysis is that the only way ISIS was successful is that the Sunnis in the middle of Iraq joined them in this and the Sunnis soldiers didn't oppose them.

As for your last para, are you saying the US has supported ISIS - what planet are you from. Pick up a paper and read, hell read the comments from Shia leaders, including in Iran who say Maliki blew this and needs to go. No way a group of 5000 can take over 1/3 of a country without a fight unless they have the co-operation of the people there.

The action of the American govt was to kill the the one guy who could keep the whole deal together. People predicted this from the get go, and sure enough, once the US troops left, here we are.

Christ you're coming out with some weird shit lately.

It may be weird to you because in your insular little world the ramifications of arming militants in one country who aspire to conquer another wouldn't occur to you.

BTW I never said the US Gov't explicitly supported ISIS I said they supported radicals of which Al Qaeda was one and if you remember back to this conversation a few months ago where it was posted that:

$1:
Susan Rice Admits U.S. Giving Arms to Al-Qaeda in Syria

http://www.infowars.com/susan-rice-admi ... -in-syria/

You'd understand what's happening but since that won't happen we'll just carry on with the insults and forget the facts.

Since ISIS was part of Al Qaeda and was active in Syria when the Americans gave them arms it's a safe bet that some of their arms they're using in Iraq are American gifts especially considering they didn't split with their parent organization till Feb 23 2014.

So I guess to you the facts in this instance are just a bunch of weird shit and anything not posted by the CBC is just right wing propaganda.

Normally you're fairly lucid with good posts but any linking to InfoWars on purpose is like totally a major autofail, dawg. :|

Here we'll try this one then.

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/ ... 7I9JZtOWUk

Or this one

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/201 ... -al-qaeda/

And once again apologies for using inforwars, next time I'll read before I post since what I did was akin to posting political opinions from the CBC. :D

Barack Obama Will Arm and Train Syria Rebels?

You mean the United States will arm and train Syrian rebels, eh?
I don't think Obama has either the skill or the finances.

Personally, I wish them good luck. Let the world see what Islam really is.

Let's see: Obama thinks that the people of Syria need to be armed to protect themselves but that Americans should be disarmed so they can't.

Right.

You're an idiot.

Well done. R=UP

6 posts before using a personal insult because you don't agree with someone.

Wow, that must be a new record, even for the left. You may have come for the politics but given the content of your posts, it's pretty apparent you're going to be the one providing the humour. :P
