Keep these Bull Shit PC stuff away from North American Shores.

I'm sure the practise is already widespread in North America,
just hidden.

Don't forget to say 'allah snackbar' to your next chicken.

If it is it should stay very hidden. Should I say "allah snackbar" when I eat a Hersey chocolate bar?

I have a can of Campbell's tomato soup in front of me. Did you know it is halal? It is. The percentage of muslims in Canada is (according to Wikipedia as of 2011) is 3.2%. Why is my soup halal? At least this product is sort of labeled halal (cresent moon symbol with the letter M). Somebody is getting rich off of halal and I have my suspicions of where the money ends up. Here also is an interesting article from a couple days ago in the Daily Mail written by a muslim author. Interesting read. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/artic ... ealth.html

I'm so happy to know the Korporate Farmers who raise genetically engineered animals in shoeboxes under artificial sunlight while pumping them full of hormones and antibiotics are outraged by the cruelty of halal slaughtering practices.

Pass the KFC...

I'd just eat more and more pig-based meats, since that could never be halal or kosher.

To be honest, this doesn't really bother me. I understand the animal cruelty issue, except, if I didn't care about Kosher, I'm not going to start caring about halal.

THE MOMENT they stop butchering pigs to satisfy my desire for bacon is when I will start truly caring.

By then, of course, it will be too late.

Funny how I never heard anyone concerned about Kosher before. Now I hear it all the time, but only as an afterthought when they're going on about halal. Kinda feels like the dietary equivalent of "it's ok, I have a black friend".

They both use basically the same technique with animals.

With other products, Muslims have been far more aggressive with pushing their agenda
onto their host countries.

How my meat died has little bearing to me, unless it was due to natural causes.

Dunno, hunters go on about it's better to get the kill shot right away.
If an animal is wounded, the adrenaline running around changes the texture and flavour of the meat.

Stunning should kill the animal right away.
The other way lets them bleed out for a minute or two, and the animals are conscious for that time.
