Most of the warships in the RCN today aren't the first to bear their names and have predecessors in the RCN or RN.


Yep - look at the USN - how many ships have been called Enterprise?



I though there was only one USS Enterprise

We came close to having HMCS Enterprise, but the transfer of HMS Enterprise to the RCN never went ahead.

7 of those, so far. ;) And 3 "ISS Enterprise"

I have a top to bottom video tour of 282 from 1991. I keep forgetting to digitize and post it. :(


I was never on the Huron.

I remember seeing her clean out of the water at the Port Weller Drydocks, years ago. That's probably where they buggered up her Trump refit.
