That's figure skating. I hate that sport becuase of the utterly corrupt judging that goes on and also because of how, at least in the USA, it's a damnable good ol' boys' club where talented skaters get sabotaged all the time in favor of skaters whose coaches or sponsors are on the 'inside'.

Were it up to me these corrupt judges would be banned from the sport for life.

Huh? We're down in the medal counts right now and the declining focus on college sports for men (that are not goddamned football) due to Title IX has an awful lot to do with it.

As for Title IX, it ensured we'd be dominant in international women's athletics for over a generation. Even in sports that have a smaller footprint in the USA, like soccer, American women dominate.
