Anyone have any idea what airbase in Alaska and what one in the Lower 48 would have a flight path over the Prince George area?
Spotted B-52s, the odd fighter and a couple UFOs (way to fast & high, like to imagine they were SR 71s) all headed in the same northerly direction over the years here. Nice clear cold skies leave amazing contrails. Funny they never seem to be going south.

I grew up in Montreal and it was common to see formations of B-52's, contrails breast literally horizon-to-horizon in the 60s. They would form up at their base right over the border in Plattsburg N.Y. and (probably) on their way to Greenland ... or their "failsafe point " near the Pole.
