Can we suspend their passports from ever returning to Canada? Canadians seemingly are popping up in too many of these types of groups. The attack on the refinery in Algeria, Syria, Afghanistan, and who knows where else are involving Canadian citizens being involved with or committing terrorist acts.

Are they committing terrorist acts when they are fighting for the side that our government is supporting? Just throwing that out there.

Are they conducting war in accordance with the Geneva Conventions? Just throwing it out there.

And to my knowledge, we aren't supporting either side.

So are the Saudis and Jordanians. All we've done so far is send supplies to the displaced civillians.

I don't want Russia acting unilaterally any more than I want the USA doing so. We need to act as an entire international community. Or else stay the hell out.

I think Obama is likely right about who was doing the gassing, but with his numbers going south like a duck in winter, I want more than just his say-so. We need independent verification of the White House tale and then we need a consensus response from the international community.

Russia isn't acting unilaterally. Unlike the US the Russians have a relationship with Syria and they have local support for their actions.
