Wrong. That's complete lie and you know it. Even Ford's aides admit the video exists. There may be some question about the authenticity of its content, but the existence of the video is not in question.

He's not, since the Globe and Mail (Or was it McLeans I read that in?) reported that the police have a copy of the tape. They won't release it, but if Ford sues they'd have to.

Then why are they keeping it and not releasing it? If they have this video like you say wouldn't that be withholding evidence in a criminal investigation, something I don't think the Crown would be to appreciative of especially considering everyone in Toronto who isn't named Rob Ford is out to get the one that is.

Its probably not in anyone's interest for the tape to light of day. I assume it will be made public during the "Discovery" portion of the upcoming "Traveller" trials.

Then you don't comprehend the definition of hearsay. The existence of the video is a confirmed story. Hearsay is a rumour. That's something different from a story that's been confirmed. You don't have to believe it. Those independent sources could be lying, but that doesn't make it any less confirmed.

“I have talked [Toronto Star reporter] Robyn [Doolittle] and I do believe her,” Holyday told reporters Tuesday. “I’d like to see the video to see what she say and I’d like to have a professional analysis of that to determine what exactly what it is.”

“No, the mayor is not lying at all. I believe Robyn Doolittle saw a video, but I’m not sure how authentic the video is,” Holyday said.
