I'm trying to think of some use of the term "brick" in your statement there... Do you mean you tensed up and got super paranoid around random strangers, clenching on some knife or something hidden in your pocket while standing in line at McDonalds, waiting for the riot that would undoubtedly occur any minute? Or did you carry a brick around?

I mean if you were attacked by someone and picked up a rock or a brick and hit someone with that to save your life.
The type of weapon used to protect yourself or on the flip side to hurt someone isn't important. What is important is protecting yourself or from a criminal point of view that you hurt someone. The tool used doesn't matter.
As such Texas can be cut off from buying what it uses to kill convicted criminals, but it's still going to kill someone and the EU isn't washing their hands of any guilt by stopping the export. In part becaue they had no guilt to start with and second because Texas is still going to apply it's laws.

I wonder how often Xort gets scared by his own shadow?
Do you use a seat belt in a car? If so are you scared of your car? I use a seat belt not because I'm scared of dying in a crash but because it's a reasonable safety precaution.
When I leave my house I'm not scared of being attacked, but I'm not unaware of the risks I'm putting myself into. While most accidents happen at the house, most accidents that are not your fault happen outside the house.
It not a matter of fear, but of have some sense of danger.

That kind of thinking right there is a sign of a diseased mind.
Nice strawman. At least it is a type of argument, not a very good one, but it's a step up from the average for the board.
