You mean the sensible regulations that were not enforced by the Pennsylvania Department of Health? It's a bit pointless having sensible regulations if the government agency that is supposed to enforce them doesn't for almost two decades.

In this case, it's a horrible tragedy that probably did break a regulation or law, or two, and the parents will be deemed responsible, on top of the loss of their child. If there weren't sensible regulations, then by all means let's create some.

Bart, a few honest questions, do they have regulations regarding ages in all the states? And are safe storage regualtions a thing there as well?

Also, since it's pretty obvious that you have no problem with that kind of firearm regulation where do you draw the line on regulating guns? Would you be ok with something like the Canadian system where you have to take a course and demonstrate that you know how to safely handle and store a firearm before being allowed to buy guns or ammo?
