Sure Reddit is the liberal ghetto of the internet, but Violentacrez has a reasonable following of trolls and non liberal anti establishment types. It wouldn't take many people to say screw that guy for screwing with our guy and then doing something about it.

I wouldn't be supprised if action was taken. I would support it to, setting out to ruin someone's life is kinda a dick move unless that person did something very wrong.

I wish that Dan Savage had gotten more than he did for his unwarranted attacks on Rick Santorum.

Would you rather have communities that show the completely illegal images instead of the one where a mod was extremely good at keeping that off the site. A job which almost noone else would take, likely meaning the one they replace him with will either despise it or be even worse than what was lost. He was also completely open about his own perversion, the only hidden thing was his name. Given a choice between Bad, worse, and worst, I will take bad any time.

Probably will happen. But the Gawker network survived a massive hacker attack courtesy of 4Chan/Anonymous a couple of years ago. There were interruptions for several weeks but Gawker still survived and thrived afterwards. The hacker attacks are intimidating against amateurish individuals who get on the bad side of groups like 4Chan. Against a professional outfit whose people are at least equal in skill to the hackers these attacks are more of an annoyance than anything.

I would rather that he face socail sanction for being a perv who targets children It might not be illegal, but consdiering the Amanda Todd case, I'm not real forgiving of degenerates feeding on teeange girls right now. His name is out, that's enough comeuppance. There's nothing illegal, apparently, about what he does, bit then there's nothing illegal about identifying him either.
