How do you measure cost? When you factor environmental costs, gas is a goddamn bargain at $1.50/L.
The problem comes when you have to buy 50 to 100 litres in one shot, which you usually don't have to do with milk, coffee, or juice. That's when an unwarranted and greed-driven price hike in the cost of fuel hurts people and leaves them extremely pissed-off.
