$1:
Ms. Marois insisted none of the proposed measures would undermine the rights of the province’s English-language minority.

Did she honestly say that with a straight face?

Guess I have no choice but to go "Coalition avenir Québec".
No chance in hell of winning though. :(

I wouldn't count them out just yet Ray. I think they have a good chance of winning. I think the PQ is going to take a beating just like their federal cousins did in the last election and they will be reduced to single digit seats. We all know their are more important issues to deal with in Quebec than the language issue. Eg. unemployment, health care, corruption, infastructure, student strikes.

But Marois is focusing on getting tough on English ? Smells like desparation.

I know the CAQ are soft separatists, but realize they have to get their house in order before they go that route which is a long way away. The liberals have past their best due date. I am, and a lot of people I know are voting for the CAQ.

Spread the word mon ami !!!

My sister and brother-in-law are on board. My son's military so I don't think they're allowed to vote anything else than Liberal or Conservative. :D

I will vote for CAQ as it's the only option left.

As what would happen in a separate Quebec , I never gave it a serious tought because I can't see it happening . I've lived in Quebec my entire life and I know French-Canadians too well . When asked for financial sacrifices they will massively back off .

Being able to go to Disney or Varadero every year is a lot more important for Quebecers than the independance of Quebec. 8)
