Tell me again why the death penalty is such a bad idea?

Elizabeth Bain. A homicidee that Homolka and Bernardo were quite likely involved in. Robert Baltovich was tried and convicted in her death only later to be found innocent of her murder. Death penalty would have seen an innocent man on death row, perhaps even executed, case closed. If she was involved in the Bain killing then she still faces life as part of her plea agreement was that she was involved in no[*]her crimes that that of Mahaffy, French and her sister.

Um, yeah, and back to Karla - the evidence was overwhelming that she had participated in these crimes. What about putting her to death?

Um, yeah, you started the different tangent by posing the question and I offered a reasonable response. Whether you are aware or not, Bernardo/Homolka are now the prime suspects of the Elizabeth Bain Disappearance and with enough proof, is the only thing putting tha POS back behind bars for good. Very much on topic.
