You are exactly right. A couple years back I was up there to visit the constabulary of a certain favorite town of mine and brought along some, er, 'hardware' to be donated to the local guys who were in need of something with a tad more kick. At the border I got the cursory steely glance as my passport was scanned and then I was told to have a nice day, no questions, no hassle, just a friendly wave.

Had there been a question I had the proper paperwork but where no question came up I had no problems skipping the usual two-hours worth of wasting my time as all of the pre-approved paperwork was cleared.

I cannot imagine that I'm the only person to have entered Canada with some interesting party favors.

Again, mine were legit and they're doing their part for Queen & Country anymore. But you have to wonder how much stuff enters without any paperwork and without any questions?

The connection was made because he knew nothing about the situation when he decided to post his 'I hate all natives' comment. He knew nothing about the fact that the government deliberately flooded them. He knew nothing about the other flood victims who aren't native who are demanding compensation, which the Conservatives seem to care about.
