I saw a picture of the victim, who is still alive. It's hard to believe what one human can do to another.

I don't know...
His eyeballs are gone, most of his skin is gone, he is homeless... I doubt he will ever be even close to ok, I wonder how many surgeries he might need to even be able to swallow, and being homeless means no insurance (logically)... What would that mean? Would he be taken care of like he should?

That brutal, and it is the question, what do you do for a homeless victim with no insurance. Morally and Ethically I think its a clear answer, but reality trumps morals and ethics... I don't think he will but, perhaps with all the attention maybe someone steps up and forks over money for this guy to have those surgeries.
