I loved studying in London, great folks and community overall... but the downtown core was already a hole when I was at Western in the late 90's early 00's... closed up shops, the galleria mall dead due to Masonville, and kids asking for money on the streets with nicer clothes and shoes than I had on
and oh yes... Fanshawe... this riot and those like it make me ill...

Even Fanshawe students call it that. And they act indignant when people question it.

Just north of Dundas and Richmond isn't too bad, right in the stretch of bars. But once you get south of queenish, it's brutal.
