I hate to be the bearer of bad news for that portion of the porn watching demographic, who think it's real, but those people you see on screen aren't really in a loving monogomous relationship that precludes the use of condoms, no matter what the director wants you to think.

It'd be my guess that since they get tested for STD's every 30 days they're willing to play Russian Roulette with their lives which is a really stupid idea, because you can sleep with a shitload of infected people both in and out of the business in that period of time.

So anyone who doesn't wear a condom because they think it ruins the production value of the movie should maybe consider taking a hike out to John Holmes grave and thinking about it.

Ya well, theres always some risk in film stunts. And the appeal of porn is precisely BECAUSE its not a loving monogamous relationship. It does ruin the production value, IMO. And theyre consenting adults, let them take the risks. It's not against the law for anyone else to sleep around unprotected. What difference does putting a camera in the room make?

I think the real intent is the same as when they tried to ban smoking in movies. They're woried that its glamorizing unprotected sex and affecting impressionable young minds.
