Public_Domain Public_Domain: Again, I really don't care about the 13 year old tumblr strawmen you want to burn down. I'm just glad you're willing to not be a dick to trans people no matter the curcumstance. I wish more conservatives and libertarians were willing to have even that slight amount of a rational stance instead of just accusing people who've spent years facing ostracization, discrimination, and belittlement just to feel comfortable in their own skin of being pedophiles and rapists. That you're willing to see a transexual person as human is all the progressiveness I could ask for from you.
Baby steps, y'know? In twenty years, maybe the conservatives will have completely dropped their beef with trans people, like I'm seeing these days with homosexuals.
Though a guy like Mike Pence sets that back pretty badly. Buddy, you're the one who's obsessed with the sex of the speaker. I'm the one who was impressed by what she was saying. Here, I'll give you another chance. Try to get past the fact she's transgender and try listening to what she's saying this time.

Go away then if you're uninterested in the actual point.
Come back in your big boy pants. The nice transgender lady will explain to you how the world works.

Public_Domain Public_Domain: Well, no, I'm not going anywhere. I never commented on the woman in the video, or the video itself, but your appropriate use of pronouns. Yes and I'm not going any further, because seeing as what she was saying was the point of the post you were replying to, do you know what they call your reply? A strawman argument. I'm saying if that's all you've got go sell it down the street.

Public_Domain Public_Domain: I wasn't addressing the "point" of your post, I went off-topic to jab at you and the new conversation from that point took a life of its own. No strawman at all; my reply wasn't intented to challenge the "point" of your post at all. It was to make a seperate off-topic point of my own. Oh pardon me then. You were just Shitposting you say. Well that's all right then. Wait a minute. No it's not. Shitposter.

Public_Domain Public_Domain: Peaceful protesting won't get you shit.
And no, absolutely none of you "respect" a peaceful leftist protest. You fucking despise every activist involved. Call them pussies and jobless unwashed scum. Occupy sure was respected here, only heard them called everything from rats to filth to losers. Hell, for the most part, you don't even hear about leftist protests if they're peaceful, they're completely ignored.
As for your hypotheticals, what if Pence starts electricuting all the gays and trans folk? Well you could not be more wrong about peaceful protesting. Mahatma Gandhi used it to defeat the British Empire. Martin Luther King Jr. used it to take on Jim Crow laws in the south, and discrimination elsewhere. There was another black man at the same time as MLK Jr. who advocated change "by any means necessary" MLK Jr. won many victories in his lifetime by the use of non violent protest. Can you name one oppressive law that was changed by Malcolm X? I can't. Every city in America has a street named after MLK Jr. I have yet to see one named after Malcolm X. We have a holiday named after Martin Luther King Jr. What does Malcolm X have? A shitty movie about him by Spike Lee. He had his face on some t shirts for a few months and then was relegated to the dustbin of history again. Occupy was shown disdain because they had no goal. If a reporter would have asked 100 people at an MLK Jr. protest why they were there, they would have gotten the same answer 100 times. They knew why they were there. They had a real goal. There was a real injustice that needed to be corrected. If a reporter asked 100 people at an occupy crowd why they were there, they got 100 different answers. No one had a clue why they were there. They heard there was a protest and thats all they needed. They made themselves look like idiots. Everyone was laughing at those fools. "I am the 99%!!!!" No your not!!!! My ass has a job!!! Always has. I don't have months to hang out in a park stinking up the place. I have responsibilities. A mortgage, a kid to raise. So those assholes needed to figure out some new percentages. They might not be in the 1%, but they sure as hell are not in the same percent of us who actually work for a living and try to better ourselves through continuing education. Occupy looked like the losers that they are. They were not fighting for rights like voting, eating at a lunch counter, riding in the front of a bus, being admitted to an institution of higher learning, etc., etc. They were asking for handouts. Free school, free food, free housing, free whatever. We mainstream people call them bums because they are bums. Where are they now? They accoplished jack shit. They left some urine stains on some pavement and thats about all. Why should anyone take these losers seriously?

Ha ha ha ha ha. Losers! http://www.calgarysun.com/2016/11/15/mo ... te-reports$1: Things turned ugly when an anti-Donald Trump rally in Portland, Oregon turned into a riot over the weekend. But of the 112 protesters arrested by the Portland Police Bureau, more than half didn't even vote according to state election records.
Sixty-nine protesters didn't fill out a ballot or weren't registered to vote in Oregon, according to NBC affiliate KGW. The news channel compared state voter logs provided by Multnomah County election officials with a list of those arrested – which included names and ages.
There were 25 protesters who did vote, while the voting records of 17 protesters were still in the process of being verified, stated KGW.
Thousands have taken to the streets to march in anti-Trump demonstrations since in Nov. 9 election. While most have been peaceful, others have resulted in graffiti, small fires and even violence. Probably just more bong-hit philosophers who couldn't get off the couch to vote because a great rerun of Three's Company was on at the time but who got all full of righteous energy to burn flags and vandalize the food court down at the galleria. I'd like to feed these fucking losers to someone like Hitler just for laughs.

Sadly, I'm not surprised.
