Well, Sabria seems to agree: $1: "Giraffes are very dangerous animals," she said on Today. "They could hurt you seriously very quickly." Thank God she saved us from such a dangerous animal.

What kind of person could look into those eyes and decide to take it's life? Like I said, Humans are driving every living thing on the planet that isn't a pet into extinction.

I hear you Brah! At least our northern hunters don't take 'trophies'. They got smart and lets foreigners pay them tens of thousands of dollars to kill an animal they were going to eat anyway. What does it matter who pulls the trigger?

What's pathetic is how some elements on the Right are using this to attack the Left's lacked response to the planned parenthood scandal which is serious, but comparing the two is apples and oranges because once you hunt certain animals to extinction it destroys a delicate balance.

I'm pretty sure Stratos didn't mean it like that. He's having a rough go of things right now, and he was only trying to emphasize the absurdity of the emotional reaction to the killing of one apex predator on a far away continent when many other lives end prematurely right here. And not just through abortion. He wasn't downplaying the killing of Cecil in any way, nor equating the two. We've had some conversations on the subject.

I didn't even know he made that comparison, I was refering to others on the Right I've seen doing this not on CKA and bad as the two are they're different issues.

He did, a few pages back. People on both political extremes can make absurd comparisons, usually about emotionally charged subjects. It's not just a right/left thing.

Any large animal, including a giraffe, can be dangerous when it gets agitated. The huge-boobed murderess comparing her particular giraffe to Cujo when his rabies kicked into high gear is just ludicrous though. She knows she did something selfish and ethically wrong so she's just making up crap to justify her actions. No different at all than the excuses made up by some scumbag that ends up in a court dock for the shitty way they behave.

BRAH BRAH: ...because once you hunt certain animals to extinction it destroys a delicate balance. Grizzly bears have been extinct in California for well over a century and we don't miss them at all. We've also done just fine without any fucking wolves, thank you very much. Seems the people in Zimbabwe are not really all that fond of the man-eating lions and they don't really give a shit that someone offed one of the bastards. http://dailycaller.com/2015/08/05/zimba ... y/?print=1$1: Did all those Americans signing petitions understand that lions actually kill people? That all the talk about Cecil being “beloved” or a “local favorite” was media hype? Did Jimmy Kimmel choke up because Cecil was murdered or because he confused him with Simba from “The Lion King”?
In my village in Zimbabwe, surrounded by wildlife conservation areas, no lion has ever been beloved, or granted an affectionate nickname. They are objects of terror…
When I was 9 years old, a solitary lion prowled villages near my home. After it killed a few chickens, some goats and finally a cow, we were warned to walk to school in groups and stop playing outside…
A week later, my mother gathered me with nine of my siblings to explain that her uncle had been attacked but escaped with nothing more than an injured leg. The lion sucked the life out of the village: No one socialized by fires at night; no one dared stroll over to a neighbor’s homestead.
When the lion was finally killed, no one cared whether its murderer was a local person or a white trophy hunter, whether it was poached or killed legally. We danced and sang about the vanquishing of the fearsome beast and our escape from serious harm…
Don’t misunderstand me: For Zimbabweans, wild animals have near-mystical significance… But our respect for these animals has never kept us from hunting them or allowing them to be hunted.

And that attitude, children, towards the other creatures on this planet is why there is absolutely no ethical or moral hope or future left for the human race. For all the art, architecture, and fancy words, all we will ever be are eaters, consumers, destroyers, ravagers, poisoners, and shit-dispensers. If god exists then we're it's absolute worst and most vile mistake.

I like Bart as a person but as far as some/too many of his ideas/beliefs go, well... As with Rust Cohle in the first season of True Detective all I can do now when encountering people is to immediately think "what do suppose the average IQ is in this place?".
