History adequately documents that when a population wages total war, as we saw in Germany and as we see in Gaza, then there are no 'innocent civilians'.

In the case of Germany the Allied forces had to deal with Hitler Youth as young as ten years old using panzerfaust against armor and using machine guns as rear guards in suicide actions.

Gaza is even worse because all of them are civilians. There is no organized military.

Gaza brings to mind Afghanistan where one of our techniques (not in use any more) was to quietly encircle a village with a full company and then openly send in a platoon to deliver food, candy, and medical supplies.

In every case there'd always be the predictable individuals who'd run out of the village to let some vermin know that there were Americans in their vilage just waiting to be killed. We'd capture the individuals and some of them were kids as young as eight. We'd do a field interrogation to find out where they were going and who they were telling about us and then we'd go pay Johnny Jihadi a social call. And at the end of the day we'd send the little killer off to the adult prison to keep company with the butt pirates.

You don't know how these people roll because you never had to exist in their f*cked up world. They don't draw cute little convenient lines between 'civilian' and combatant. And with Gaza they are engaged in total war and only ignorant glassy-eyed f*ckwits would be stupid enough to think that people in Gaza are somehow similar to people in Ottawa.

This is just trash. A baby will always be an innocent civilian and there is no getting around it. They are dependent, they are innocent, and they don't make their own decisions. You are the only one applauding their death. It is probably not an indication that have no respect for human life, its more than likely just hyperbole but without knowing where the hyperbole ends and your actual opinion begins, it makes discussion meaningless.

It's like in the other thread where you said the hour you are in church is one hour where you are not out shooting people. We all know it's just machismo, makes you feel big and tough, and we all know this bully mentality is normally a defense mechanism used to stave off insecurities but it doesn't really add anything to a discussion because it is just bullshit, meaningless fluff, similar to your response in this thread.

I googled for casualty numbers of Hamas fighters. I couldn't actually find those. We will assume they exist though, right? Wonder where those numbers went? Hmmm...

* Gazans killed by exploding ammunition caches of terrorist rockets - 300
* Hamas political enemies murdered and used to pad stats - 300
* Natural deaths used to pad war stats - 300
* Old stats such as the kids that died digging tunnels slipped into current stats - 200
* General adding of the pressure from the crooked thumb of Hamas on the statistic keepers - 300
* Hamas fighters; from tunnel hiders to rocket launchers - 1200.

Now it's true that adds up to well over the actual number of dead, but I used the Hamas method of statistic-keeping which says "who cares if it makes sense, those idiots in the West will believe anything they're told that comes with a number."

His last thought before passing out was,'Geez kid, if you didn't want almonds you could have just told me.' He was a navy corpsman, attached to a marine unit. He joined the navy thinking he'd avoid combat situations.
