Stop speaking for all Canadians btw.

"Freedom of Speech."

"Canada fucking hates you"

No your making and statement that we all hate her, an assumption. That's Not freedom of speech.

I dont hate nor am I a fan, I'm indifferent. If you'd let her speak maybe I would be able to make up mind. But you've decided whats best for me and blindly support the people who have removed the option for me to make that choice.

Nazi.

People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
1. The threat of violence was significant, meaning there should be proof of this. Provide me with all the threats of violence that 'forced' her to stop speaking. Tell me about the protesters calling for her death. Or for her to be converted. Or for her country to be invaded and her leader killed (she wouldn't mind anyway).

Or did a bunch of people just exercise their freedom of speech and drown the bitch out?

Seems like the students were the one who supported violence and hatred.

Try reading the article. The organizers pissed themselves and pulled the plug.

Her opinion is not guaranteed under the Charter if she chooses to promote hatred.

I guess will never now what she was going to say huh, since the Ottawa U Hitler Youth shut her down.

Guess they were exercising their freedom of speech, huh?

Wow, trying to shut down freedom of speech here. You've decided what's best for him and blindly support the people who wanted to remove the option of her making her racially charged bullshit statements.

Who's the Nazi now?

You know thats bullshit. Stop being a dumb ass Canadian.

Hardly bullshit. You see it on these forums all the time - say something negative about the US and you're instantly branded as being anti-American.

Hardly supportive of freedom of speech.

I agree with your observation about this forum - but that's just more freedom of speech. You or I can slag the US, and other guys can come down on us for that. That is supportive of freedom of speech.

.

Really? Shutting their opinions down is hardly supportive of freedom of speech.

Funny thing though, replace Muslims with the Canadian Forces as Coulter's whipping boy, and see how the members of the site react.

Recall the FOX group of retards pissing all over the CF? Didn't see a lot of people saying hey, I support their freedom of speech.

Bodah Bodah:
At some point in your life you will realize why freedom of speech is important, even for peoples views you dont agree with. It makes you no different than a fucking Nazi otherwise. The only true way to silence fools is to let them speak and remove all doubt that they are infact fools, to silence them you empower them.

Stop speaking for all Canadians btw.

Wow, a double Godwin. Sad.

I read them both and didn’t see a single line saying “There were plans of violence” or “There were people threatening violence” or “A plan to attack Ann was uncovered”.

All it says is that there were protests and the organizers feared violence.

The protesters have the right to speak…and their point is just as valid as Ann’s right to spew hatred.

Free speech won, in my opinion. Those who stood up to racism and intolerance were heard loud and clear by the world.

All I say is good. If any Canadian were to attempt to spew Anti-American bullshit like she spews in any school in the states they would be imprisoned

They'd be what? They'd be arrested? What? Yeah, that's a bunch of bullshit.

As much as I might disagree with Coulter's expression of her beliefs, she still has a right to speak in Canada, if there was no criminal grounds to keep her out of the country to begin with. If the protests were turning too violent or dangerous to continue with her freedom of expression, the student protesters were wrong.
