I can't prove the Taliban will keep replacing their numbers either but history seems to show that they can. Gangs don't keep recruiting larger and larger numbers. They exist is stable sizes and keep those numbers. Throw a leader in jail and another takes over. Thrown foot soldiers in jail and they simply initiate new members.

Even in the gang capital of NA, the city of Los Angeles they are using education, family assistance (since jailing young fathers means kids suffer) and handing out gift vouchers for people handing in guns.

Face it. Your approach to crime has been shown to fail and is based only on a knee jerk reaction.

Harper has gone up for me recently, Iggy has gone down. Both parties have a lot of idiots in them.
I'm thinking that I should give it a go and get into politics if these wankers (on both sides of the house) can get $120K a year plus expenses then so can I.

That's not true. I don't lean Liberal. I've voted Conservative many more times than Liberal. Actually, my preference is for Conservative federal governments and Liberal or NDP provincial ones. That's because I'm a government minimalist and a staunch fiscal conservative but I believe strongly in public education and health-care. I digress...

Iggy's going down for me too. Harper's still lower because I can't support the Reform/Alliance elements of the CPC. I'm still planning to vote Green because, as you say, they're all SHITE.

But to say either the Libs or the Cons is the party of "arrogance" is arrogance in and of itself.
