Thanos Thanos: Knock yourself out if you want to. No love for fascism but when life is at it's most basic it's better to be the predator than the pray. And good doesn't defeat evil, not like our belief in fairy tales and stories for children say it does. A different kind of bad is the only thing that can really stop true evil. Two atomic clouds over Japan in the summer of 1945 is proof enough of that. Pretending this world is any kind of cuddly will only get someone killed.
So, should I start carrying a bigger gun than you?

N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog: In any case I sometimes think that people hiding behind Godwin's law like Tweetie Bird behind Granma's skirts are more just afraid of accuracy. Godwin must have loved meme's.

More moderate voices in American need to speak out against extremism otherwise there is a risk of further radicalisation of the American public who, as we have seen, are prone to violent outbursts - Sound familiar ? Sorry couldn't find a youtube link for this but it well worth the watch https://vid.me/eKgU

BRAH BRAH: Yes I did, his message is right but he should have said "Any Muslim who leaves the United States to fight for ISIS should never be allowed in the country again." The same should apply to Canada but in both cases the Left and main stream media are blind. andyt andyt: Shoulda coulda but didn'ta. not even close. He said what he meant. I agree with you 100% Brah, but like Andy said; Trump voiced his misogyny, bigotry, disdain for War vets and overt racism quite clearly over the last few months. If you look up some of the video for those remarks, including the one I posted, he was reading from a piece of paper. He could have said exactly what you said, but instead chose his words very carefully and said something very different. This morning even some of the more radical Republicans are distancing themselves from him, because they know in only a few short weeks the Iowa primaries are coming and he's still leading in the polls. When elected to govern, a leader is supposed to represent all of the citizens they represent, not the few demographics they they choose to represent.

While Trump could have chosen his words better to a lot of people it's what needed to be said and with the Republicans all of the sudden showing their outrage that's grandstanding which could help him win Iowa.

On topic: $1: Let's go over the history:
1. Obama lets terrorist into the country
2. Obama's national security department notices nothing wrong with terrorists receiving payments, accumulating bombs and weapons.
3. Obama says: No terrorist threat.
4. Terrorists murder.
5. Obama, through his press secretary, blames Trump.

BeaverFever BeaverFever: And how on earth would you or Bart or any of your right wing ilk know anything about moderate Muslims? Seriously I would like to know. Speaking for myself I've had the repeated experience of allegedly trustworthy Muslims turning around and doing their best to kill me. Obviously they're fucking n00bs at this because they're dead and I'm still here. The real moderate Muslims are usually identified by other Muslims and are dealt with accordingly.

That post, snarky as it is, only resonates because it's true.

A Muslim Imam is now supporting Donald Trump's proposal: http://www.westernjournalism.com/this-m ... -everyone/(Video at the link) $1: A Texas imam who has challenged American Muslims to support their home nation said he agrees with Donald Trump’s call for a temporary ban on new Muslims entering the United States.
Imam Nidal Alsayyed of Beaumont, Texas, said the government should go even further than Trump’s proposal and establish a ban on accepting Syrian refugees of any religion. He said that actions are necessary “when it comes to peace and safety.”
“I certainly see it to be wise (to) stop temporarily accepting any new Muslim immigrants (refugees and non-refugees) into the United States,” he said.
This “is based on the fact that we can hardly distinguish who is Muslim and who is not. Islam is not about an ID card or last name or shouting ‘Allahu Akbar,'” he added.
“It does not matter whether Trump said it or anyone else … American Muslims need to say we are with this country,” he said.

You're outraging yourself at a figment of your own imagination. BartSimpson BartSimpson: That post, snarky as it is, only resonates because it's true. My post is also true. There are videos of every thing he said with respect to it. Even George W. wasn't such a constant source of WTF moments as "The Donald". I'm not outraged by it, but it does amuse me. It also saddens me that Trump's rating continue to climb the more he uses divisiveness as the ladder to make that climb, and that he continues to fuel the thing he says he condemns. He's just a great big walking ISIS recruitment poster. He's a contender for the highest office in your country. I choose to keep one eye on that man because whatever happens in your country has a great effect in mine.

Continuing to be all bend over PC is what really encourages them.
