I don't know, I still think a lot Canadians are pretty racist about Indians. There was a great comedy bit on youtube by an American comic living in Vancouver ralking about how smug Canadians were about Amercians--until you brought up what we've done to the Indians. Then we get all defensive. Pretty true in my experience.

Anyways Martin saying "Just another alcohol fueled rage for a Saturday night, I guess the checks have arrived" and no one here calling him on it speaks volumes about the racism towards natives in Canada.

A fair comment.

Donny's belligerent and bleating posts unfortunately garner little sympathy for the native causes and drown out any meaningful debate.

He does more damage than good with his inflammatory posts.

Still, it’s no excuse. The references to booze and welfare checks were rather offside.

I concur. Passive racism is just as dangerous as active racism. We need look no further than the rise of Hitler for proof of that.
