Both sides are still arguing when I've alreay told you you're both wrong. One side says "The Earth is the centre of the universe", the other side says "No, the sun is the centre of the universe." You can argue back and forth all day long...you're BOTH STILL WRONG!

the only reason why I'm still posting is Derby is in denial about the unemployment stats I posted, but he can't post any other ones to prove them wrong.

No, I actually posted the same curve. You just want to point out the slight raise in 2000 yet ignore the steep decrease in the previous 6 years.

Thats why you post minor increases in 2000 and claim its because of the Liberals yet bitch if anybody ever blames Harper for the skyrocketing unemployment.

You have been schooled and busted.

Sorry for your luck!

mtbr mtbr:

you can't even acknowledge that the stats I posted from Statscan are correct why should I expect you to answer any questions :?

The stats from statscan show a great decrease under the Liberals and a large increase under Harper which you will not account for.

the stats from statscan show that only now the unemployment rate is equal to what it was in the early part of the decade...as I posted 3 pages back. :?

where is that not accounted for?

Yet the Liberals were on the downslope from 11% and harper is on the upslope to 11%.

Just like the debt and deficit. :P

Sorry for your luck!

Of course, because "______'s governemnt is responsible for unemployment" is an undefendable position. It's logic like "Frogs are born in summer, therefore the birth of frogs causes daily temperatures to rise".

2.today's rate...as I've pointed out twice which was the subject of my original post and you accuse me of ignoring :?:

3. again..why was the unemployment rate so high during these years since the Libs were in charge for so long prior?

rate in 1993 was 11%.

WHY WILL YOU NOT POST DATA FROM 1993 on?

That shows it going down from a high of 11% to 6.5%.

Funny you won't post that.

Funny how you want to blame the Liberals for unemployment during their tenure but "global conditions" during Harpers.

The problem is that I'm not blaming Harper on his unemployment rates ... YOU are trying to blame the Liberals.

In short, the unemployment POST 93 - 2006 was a sharp decrease. Liberal years.

2006-2009 is a sharp increase with more to follow. CPC years.

Sorry for your luck!

No different than blaming the worlds ills on Harper or Bush.

We should be blaming the rife stupidity and greed prevalent among the "CEO's" of our seemingly illustrious financial organisations.

We aren't doing that (although you often blame lefties). We blame then for what they are responsible for. Harper is responsible for the deficit.

Bush is responsible for Iraq, Afghanistan, and a hideous record of human rights.

that and they are both responsible for the leafs not winning a cup since 67. I have grainy video and insider reports to prove it.
