The will and wishes of the patient are of paramount importance.

provided that we can get to the front of the waiting list.

Waiting times are a great concern. I'd be happy to listen to your suggestions as to how to allevitate them.

More Doctors, more nurses.

Had I better? Or what, Derby?

But what you're saying is that you've narrowed the scope once again to healthcare workers who deal with pregnancies and abortions... not the profession as a whole.

You might want to sit down before you keel over from all this spinning.

 Narrowed the scope? What do you consider healthcare? Anybody who works in the healthcare dept of wallmart?

What I termed as healthcare may have excluded important components such as dentistry or massage therapy but thats no less valid. Thats the tradition definition and when dealing with abortion it should be note that the vast majority of the people directly involved with preforming abortions support a womens choice.

You can spin this all you like but that was always my original point. The women who want abortions support it and the healthcare workers who deal with abortions support their desicion. Thats the most important part.

I'm starting to get to a point where I might insult you and your profession and I don't want that. I didn't intend for my statement to minimize your profession but I clearly meant to communicate that all of us who deal physicaly with abortions agree with them as it was inteneded to invalidate hwankers article suggesting that a few quacks contradicted the bulk of the (ot point) medical establishment.

Sorry to insult your profession. That was not my intention.

Its not that simple. Wait times are often because of diagnostic services, MRIs, etc.

Canada has every ability to increase services and funding and all it takes is raised taxes or decreased spending elsewhere.

Sound familiar?

I'm a Medical Technologist. In short terms we do all the tests you think of when a doctor says "get this to the lab".

All blood work, blood typing, micriobiology, spinal taps, sectioning alltissues for analysis.

In short any part of your body we have a test for it.

How about you cowboy? Whats your vocation in life?

Okay, so now we're at the crux of your statement. 90%+ of healthcare workers who deal with abortions support that.

In other words...

$1:
Being in the medical industry I can assure you that over 90% minimum of us believe in freedom of choice.

You weren't speaking for the profession as a whole when you said "us". You meant you and your co-workers.

You really have no idea what the profession as a whole thinks.

No, I just didn't really include you in the tern healthcare.

Given the numbers I know about in all my listed trades I doubt that the vasy majority of dentistry opposes abortion and I doubt those that do are in any number to significantly alter my numbers.

I doubt you have ever debated the issue with your coworkers as I have because you aren't dealing with any actual issues related to it.

Regardless, you have already posted that you understand why all us related healthcare workers sgree with abortion. Even if 50% of your profession doesn't it won't alter the numbers that much.

End result still ends with the bulk of healthcare workers agreeing with a pro-choice viewpoint.

Either a very honest or very deceitful answer.

Either that or you aren't that proud of your vocation.

I'm on the EI ski team(formerly UI ski team which I think still sounds better). My job burned down homeslice. I am without vocation. But I'm leaning towards lab tech. How many months in school is that?

Employment insurance ski team?

No matter.

A lab tech program is either a 1 or 2 year program with the possibility of 1 1 year placement. The longer the education the better the pay.

We are assisted by lab assistants with 1 year of trainng and they make less then half what I do.

Biotech lab assistants do slighly better but job prospects are Ottawa, Vancouver, and Toronto or the US generally.

Vet lab techs make the least and have the least training.

Almost all lab tech programs are expandable into a higher position if you so desire.

Just off the top of my head mind you.
