Probably berating the west for not taking in more "refugees" while ignoring the fact that the mid-east countries are not accepting any due to the high risk they pose for violence.

Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey not qualify as ME countries?

Where's Harper castigating the oil rich countries for not doing their bit instead of sucking up to them? Would want to jeopardize our billion dollar arms sales we are hoping to do. Sucking Saudi dick seems to span the political spectrum.

And Saudi apparently has taken 100,000 Syrians, just not classified as refugees but immgrants.

They're still managing refugee camps and sending those who meet the requirements to countries willing to take them.

But they deal in actual refugees. Why would they have anything to do with this army of thug invaders?

Of course they need money. Because the countries are not paying enough as it is...

How about protecting the EU borders, and making sure the right people are registered at the right places instead of demanding to go to Sweden and Germany?

Once you are in Europe, there are no borders. Kinda like the US. Once you cross the border you can go where ever you want.
I guess I should cross, without papers, and demand to be taken to California because I need sun and not snow...

Good!! That is what they should do.

Like I said, I have NO PROBLEM with helping actual refugees.

But... They should also be sending back the non-refugees. Obviously, Merkel fucked up big time.

You think the UN should be protecting the EU borders? WTF? That's up to the EU to do. If they don't have the will (they certainly have the capability) how is having a bunch of Bangladeshi or such UN troops going to help.

The states at the border of the EU that are getting the refugees should be enforcing the Schengen agreement, which says that people entering the EU need to show proper ID and be admitted. Just as I can't fly to Amsterdam and just demand entry. If those countries can't do the job, the rest of the EU should be assisting them, except they are too afraid of being called nazis so they hope it will always be somebody else's problem.

Isn't the freedom of movement a right that European citizens have? Why do the illegals figure they have this right too?

Brenda Brenda:
Economical migrants are not refugees tho. Don't demand shit. Register where you are supposed to. Accept the help you get, don't DEMAND to be brought to the place of your choice. It doesn't work that way.

I could post video after video after of these 'refugees' chimping out in every country they have rampaged through.
If you watch the news, you are seeing 5% of the reality.

ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog:
Part of the problem is there are so many who aren't legitimate refugees from the Syrian civil war. Pakistanis are joining in FCS  ....Iam not liking the benefits here. let us be mewing sumvere else.

The most liberal UN estimate is 70% Syrian.
The Croats just said 60%
So the reality is 45-50%.

It was the Swedes own stupidty in waiving Dublin rules. The swedes did it in the spring,
'any Syrian arriving in Sweden will get immediate residence permit'.
Never mind what the Germans did. open doors, close 4 days later.

The Italians and Greeks were complaining of the overload of applications.
The Hungarians were able to sort out and refuse applications in less than 24 hours.
Ok, it was a bit of a kangaroo court, but still..

Not anymore. Norway and Finland have controls back on, Holland and Denmark has controls with Germany.
Every country has controls on with Austria and Germany.

They will probably not come down anytime soon, and expect more fences, not less.

Schengen is dead.

ShepherdsDog ShepherdsDog:

No.
Countries have always had the ability to reintroduce border controls,
'for a limited time during special circumstances'.

I have seen lots of refugees over the years.

This horde is most fussy whiny arrogant aggressive bunch of entitled xxxxx I have ever seen.

Just remember, only Germany Germany Germany.

Greece bad, Serbia bad, Hungary bad. Even Austria isn't good enough for them.

Yeah, I do. There's a bit more going on now so yes, they might want to help out.

Obviously, the states (I would call them 'countries', buy whatever) obviously cannot handle the situation.

Brenda Brenda:

The same place they were during the Srebrenica massacre.

Brenda Brenda:
Something like this was bound to happen at some point...
The way the UK HAS to handle the illegals who jump onto semi's in France, and when found, the truckers go to jail and the illegals get a house and welfare...
Merkel saying "Come on in, come on over, we will help you!" and then, a day later "ALLLL of Europe needs to help!" and then closing her borders because she CAN'T handle it. Duh, other countries already saw that, which is why they didn't yell "Come on in!!"
Europe can't afford this. I feel for the REAL refugees. I can't imagine what they are going through, having to leave everything and everyone behind. I do agree those should be helped.
Economical migrants are not refugees tho. Don't demand shit. Register where you are supposed to. Accept the help you get, don't DEMAND to be brought to the place of your choice. It doesn't work that way.

I have no solution for this. If I had, I wouldn't work where I am working, but would be making the mega-bucks and drive a new truck.

I am very f*cking happy that I made the choice to move to Canada when I did. Just sayin.

Merkel created this mess.

They certainly could handle the situation if they put their minds to it. If some of the smaller states can't, well that's part of what being in the EU means. Mobilize the armies. Certainly a better solution than bringing in foreign troops from how knows where under the UN banner. If they are the aforementioned Bangladeshis, they's just shout Allahu Akbar and let everybody pass. Some African Christian soldiers, otoh, might initiate a bloodbath.

Give your head a shake, this is one stupid idea.

Oh Lordy.

Hungarian news ticker is reporting 40 Croat policemen were escorting a train of illegals

actually crossed the border into Hungary.

The policemen were disarmed and are being detained.

Train driver was arrested for human trafficking.

It's not officially official yet, but we'll see.

Whoever ordered that train to cross the border should be hung.

The final figures are out on that now.

"Only one in every five migrants claiming asylum in Europe is from Syria.

The EU logged 213,000 arrivals in April, May and June but only 44,000 of them were fleeing the Syrian civil war.

Campaigners and left-wing MPs have suggested the vast majority of migrants are from the war-torn state, accusing the Government of doing too little to help them.

'This exposes the lie peddled in some quarters that vast numbers of those reaching Europe are from Syria,' said David Davies, Tory MP for Monmouth. 'Most people who are escaping the war will go to camps in Lebanon or Jordan."
