We just got word that the Provincial Legislature grounds are not under lockdown, but Sheriffs are increasing their patrols. And they all will be armed.

I guess West Edmonton Mall has increased it's secuirty in response to this attack, yeah it's a mall but would probably make a tempting target.

Muslim terrorists have attacked malls before. Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi springs to mind.

Parliament security likely had no idea of the other shooting that soon after it happened.

That's because Obozo replaced an experienced Secret Service leader with a liberal-left woman whose primary qualification was that she was a lesbian. She made a number of political decisions that impacted security, such as changing the ROE for the guards and then removing the paramilitary component of the Secret Service from the White House because all those scary white guys scared people. Now she's gone and an experienced white guy (who had been purged by Obama) is in charge again.
