They have no such capability. This is just a maskirovka that they think has some sort of effect on the Western public.

But to their way of thinking this is a devastating propaganda piece that will make the West fear the Russians.

I like the Russians, I really do, but they never fail to amaze me in how they can act and sound like Albert Einstein one moment and then act like Jim Carrey the next. This is one of those times.

Until it's successfully field tested or used in battle it doesn't exist. Same sort of crap that everyone from the Chinese to the Iranians to the weak sisters on our own side pulls when they cause a clamour saying "how easy it is now" to sink an American carrier. PS - an American carrier hasn't been sunk since 1945.

I like the part where they act like the US military is just sitting around with what they have and not constantly updating equipment and procedures. Take the M2 Bradley as an example. The initial versions were highly problematic, thanks entirely to the procurement controversies that surrounded it's development and roll-out. Then it proved itself in the first Gulf War and then was further refined into one of the most effective AFV's made with the addition of ERA supplementary armour and BUSK packages. The F-35 will probably turn out the same. Now it's too much to invest in, for a country like Canada anyway, but in five to ten years it will most likely prove itself as well.

Don't underestimate the enemy of course. The Russians, Chinese, and even the shitty little terrorists have all pulled off some really surprisingly military tech developments of their own. I'd still stake it though on those crazy nerd geniuses working for the US at DARPA and those other programs. The Yanks will always end up with an embarrassing bloody nose every once in a while but in the end almost all of the significant advantages remain on their side.

Radio jamming? Everyone has ECM tech these days, and I doubt that the Russians are more advanced than the US, which always had an edge in that department throughout the Cold War. It's probably even more pronounced because the US has spent trillions on defence in two decades since the USSR went tits up.
