I was reading about this guy earlier in the CTV website article. How anyone didn't even question that he was older than 17 is beyond me because he definitely looks like a 30 year old man.
The fear of being branded a racist by the political left and the SJW's is my guess.
That and because no one at the school that brought him in gave a fuck about this kind of cheating as long as the team was winning. They had a similar incident in the US with a 21-year-old doing the same trick. The coach that brought the ringer in is seen as some kind of local hero and they're in an intense fight to keep the wins they had with the guy intact just so they can claim champion status in their league. Pretty pathetic but the days of Knute Rockne and character-building-through-sports are long gone. That should be obvious to anyone now given the number of proven rapists that never get punished merely because they're good at football or basketball. At this stage it appears the only qualification required to be a coach of any sport at any level is to be some kind of hyper-cynical psychopath because they get away with any dirty trick or stunt now, or fill the team roster with criminals, as long as the team keeps winning.
