Not just Bullshit. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the world's most important and prevalent natural fertilizer.
But as to the article - if it's the same one, it's true if you believe his figures, but there appears to be argument as to how correct they are. There's a side that says they are correct and a side that says they aren't. It gets pretty complex. Anybody here claiming they know all the mathematical arguments to both sides, have all the data and can compute for the precise answer is a liar. I've checked out enough of the issue to believe I know that much.
