I hadn't thought of that before.

Everybody knows wind farms kill birds of prey, of course, but I'd never considered how that might affect the food chain beneath them.

Once one hears it, it seems pretty basic though.

Figures concerning this problem are always questionable but I know one thing makes sense now that I've heard it.

Killing birds of prey will affect the food chain below it.

Come to think of it, those bird choppers also kill hundreds of thousands of bats. Bats eat insects.

But I thought wind turbines were GREEN and we were SAVING THE PLANET with them?

No, but don't you see...it's OK if Eagles and Hawks and Whooping Cranes are getting chopped up in wind turbines because apparently in some way, somewhere many more sparrows and such are somehow getting radiated in nuclear plants or electrocuted by live wires. Or something.

Oh and it's preferred by eco-nouveau we just forget about the bats. But if the nukes and electro-shockers don't impress you they'll pull some crazy numbers out from somewhere on what they think cats are doing. Again, not to Eagles and Hawks and Whooping Cranes though, but don't look behind that curtain.

If you guys are so worried about bird deaths, I'd assume you're okay with the following:
No more windows
No more cats
No more communication towers
No more wires for electricity (high tension wires)
No more cars
No more pesticides
No more oil

All of these things result in far more deaths for birds.

I once saw a Dog with what looked like safety pins in his snout. I tried to fix him once but it didn't work.
