Apparently we're just behind Germany.
Yeah right. Happy New Year's from Cologne.
Now THAT'S a low blow.
It's alright to complain and be upset, as some of us have a reason to, but come on now.
Germany and Japan have done what the West has lost, they have been able to market themselves as high end manufacturers and producers of high demand products. Consumer products primarily in Japan, industrial products primarily in Germany. All this while having a high currency relative to other producers.
Canada could learn a lot from these countries if we weren't allowing sub-par low performers who's only contribution came from grandpa to get ahead without contribution or merit. As a strong signal, today, Bombardier lost out to Boeing on a contract to United Airlines. This based on aggressive pricing which I am shocked to hear considering our historically low dollar, and, an ability to be flexible with production.
Canada is in for a shock, but until enough people care it won't make a difference. Once the lending taps are shut off, the public will understand, and maybe they will appreciate what a century of oppression of liberties has brought us. Freedom and innovation go hand in hand.
